Mariah Carey appears to be in an early festive mood. While Halloween isn't until next week, the diva held a bash at her Los Angeles home.
Carey's billionaire fiancée wasn't in sight, however ex-husband Nick Cannon, Tamar Braxton, Floyd Mayweather and more were in attendance.
Despite their separation, Cannon still maintains a healthy relationship with Carey as the two co-parent. The comedian joined their twins at the party dressing as Luigi, while the “Infamous” singer opted to wear a seductive latex devil's costume. See pictures from the bash below:
Tamar Braxton is upset at the media for the rumors on her marriage. Braxton has gone private on Instagram after writing, “There is so much more.... #thisalbumislit.” The caption included a broken heart emoji, which the media strongly believes has to do with her marriage.
This summer, the singer was hit with infidelity rumors and reportedly had a physical altercation with her husband, Vince Hubert.
Along with this, Braxton unfollowed R&B singer Monica and reality star, Toya Wright. The two were recently on “The Real,” the daytime talk show that the singer was fired from.
In a massive post, she cleared up the rumors on going private and unfollowing the two celebrities (indirectly).
This post was very extra, however it's no surprise as this is Tamar. The singer appears to be very confident about her new material. It's unfortunate that she's already moving onto her next album, as “Calling All Lovers” had potential (Ex: “Must Be Good To You,” “Broken Record,” etc.).
On the recent episode of “Braxton Family Values,” Tamar was in tears as she was fired as a co-host on the talk show, “The Real.” However, she wasn’t aware of why she was fired.
She also vented on how this has been an awful year for her, as her latest release, “Calling All Lovers” had low first-week sales and she had to quit “Dancing With The Stars” because she had an illness.
On Thursday, Braxton visited The Steve Harvey Morning Show, where she explained how she found out she was fired.
Steve Harvey then announced that he signed Braxton to his production company where she could launch her own talk show, game show, etc.
Tamar Braxton was fired from The Real, which was reported last week. Braxton took to Instagram saying that she was stabbed in the back, and added that it wasn’t by any of her family members. Fans of Braxton’s then assumed it was by one of her co-hosts on “The Real” as she unfollowed Loni Love and Jeannie Mai on social media.
Numerous fans of Braxton’s wrote on social media that they would no longer watch the show if reports of her being fired were true. Viewers then awaited a response from the talk show.
The team behind The Real later wrote, “THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
The executive producer of “The Real” Rachel Miskowiec has allegedly chosen Keke Palmer to replace Tamar Braxton. “Rachel produced the pilot for Telepictures with Keke Palmer last summer. She likes Keke and Keke of course wants to do another talk show,” the insider added to Bossip this week, adding that Keke is currently “on the fast track” to taking over Braxton’s former role.
As for more on why Braxton was fired, executives of the hit daytime talk show The Real fired her because of negative feedback on her ‘ghetto’ persona given by focus groups – as well as on-set insubordination and a rebellion by advertisers. The show’s sales team made it clear that advertisers did not want her in their segments due to her antics and lack of cooperation.”
In some ways, viewers may find Palmer similar to Braxton. For example, Palmer can be loud and bubbly. However, I don’t think some viewers will find her as annoying and animated as Braxton.
Update: Keke Palmer wrote that the reports are false, so she will not be co-hosting “The Real.”
